About America's leadership

I thought it important to summarize several prophecies about America's leadership that are relevant to the current election.  Please note the Liberty Bell and “Dagon has fallen” prophecy happened in August 2011 well before Governor Romney was one of the two lead presidential candidates in this year's election.  Prophecies that occur in a season when the exact opposite appears to be happening carry additional weight with me.

June 21, 2012 Excerpt:

A word for this time: Separation, Goshen

I clearly heard Jesus Christ, Yeshua, speak before I went to bed and had to post this tonight.  Sometimes there is an urgency and tonight I must post.  He said, “I am shaking that which is not founded on Me.  I am blessing that which is founded on me.  There is a separation.  Do not be afraid!”

This is a spectacular time to be living, dearest friends.  We are blessed to witness what our forefathers dreamed of in terms of Yeshua moving in mighty ways.  Can you imagine?  A time when the contrast between darkness and light is amplifying and startling?  A time where believers are protected and even supernaturally prosper in Goshen (Genesis 47:27)?  Goshen has been on my mind as many of my believing friends are looking to move to a safe place out of the country.  I am planted here!  The Lord has shown me my Promised Land here and I am not moving but declaring my intention to enter it and take it back from the occupiers!  Maybe I sound cocky, but no more confident and headstrong than Caleb or Joshua, I hope.  I am not moving but planted!   With Christ in me I will see the enemy move on!  It is the Lord’s victory.  I could tell you stories of some of the personal enemies being thwarted and turned away in my life by the Lord’s hand.  True miracles.  But I’m talking about America, here.  We are Jesus’ people and don’t care about polls and opinions.  Or imminent wars.  We care about Yeshua and His supernatural abilities to shake, shake, shake things up.  And we’ll be standing after the shaking!!  Do not fear!  Don’t look at the waves like Peter but look at Jesus' face and walk on the water.  There are two worlds.  Which do we choose to live in, just as the Israelites trusted in their Lord?  I can feel the faith of the church and the faith of Israel strengthening and converging in these stormy times until we find ourselves looking at the same magnificent face of YESHUA.

When I’m not worked up as in the last paragraph, I am in a place of immense peace in His presence and witnessing His moving.  I’m planting a beautiful garden in the natural which I believe is a type and shadow of the spiritual.  I don’t have the funds to advance completely into the Promised Land and occupy all for His sake that He has laid on my heart.  My occupation right now is only partial.  Some major bills are due in two months.  I smile, without a care, because I have been in this place many times before.  He’s the Provider, not I.  Yesterday, out of the blue someone told me they had a referral fee they owed me and were going to send me money.  I didn’t have to do any work for it. 

On another investment, I’ve been in a position to invest that could very well usher me into the Promised Land I believe He has put on my heart, and all that I have desired to purchase for His glory, to create a place of spiritual refreshment and encounter for others.  I have dreamed of this day for years and I can feel the breakwaters of the tide coming in.

If you notice, the DOW is going to 14,000, with the major pullback in spring, just as prophesied.  To Him is the glory because the vision came from Him and not pizza imagination.

I can’t say anything else as I have said what I believe He wanted me to say. There is a separation going on in the world.  A separation.  There are spiritual Goshens present as well.  Here is a word of wisdom, “The only place it did not hail was the land of Goshen, where [those whose only rock is Yeshua] were.” Exodus 9:26 (NIV)

The insidious whispers of your budget

If you have followed my blog I’ve testified the Lord has provided just enough just in time over the last couple of years.  I have high expenses because of my Californian home.  There is nowhere in the Bible that says, “thou shalt have a lovely home in California”.  So I’ve been willing to sell and have "put it on the altar” numerous times, in church speak.  But the Lord proved His will to me and kept providing in the most unusual ways.  He made it clear to me my own workaholic efforts were toil and vanities because oftentimes the prospects I worked hardest cultivating ended up not becoming clients after all.  And then at very last minute a brand new client I had never met before appeared out of the blue.  Such has been 2010 through this year.

But now the lesson is changing with me.  For the last two years I have kept a very careful eye on my expenses, tallying everything in a spreadsheet and sometimes looking at my projected expenses and income every day.  But I also stepped out in faith and made some investments.  So money is starting to expand slowly in my bank account by His grace.  However, yesterday He made it clear He wants me to listen to Him before I purchase something, and not check my budget spreadsheet if I will have sufficient funds.  This has pushed me into an area of discomfort, wondering if I will hear Him correctly on what to purchase and what not to.  When I started agreeing with Him that I wouldn’t look at my spreadsheet and plug in the new potential expenses, then I realized I could hear His voice exceedingly clearly.  How insidious the whispers of money are, of your budget!!  What I rationalized as being a good steward was actually excess yielding to the dictates of money.  The word “dictates” I chose because dictates means to “lay down authoritatively, prescribe, to say”.  The root word is the same as in diction, it is about speaking.  When you are watching your pennies closely those pennies will “speak” to you and muddle your hearing God.  We can’t listen to both God and money.

Here is an example.  This evening I needed a binder.  I went into my garage sensing a binder would be there somewhere.  I found a single binder, buried, and only one.  It was very dusty from years ago.  When I came back inside and started putting the hole-punched papers in the binder I heard the Lord say, “How did you know there was a binder in the garage?”  His question stopped me.  I realized I just knew, I just knew because of His Spirit lightly leading me to explore the garage.  He didn’t need to say anything more for me to realize He was telling me His Spirit should similarly lead me in all my activities, including purchases, and not my spreadsheet.  Of course, I constantly pray and seek His guidance before any purchase, but He is wanting to refine my listening further in saying there is an insidious voice of money speaking from my budget.  What if He says to do it and my budget says I shouldn’t, I should keep more money in the bank?  He’s proved to me these past years that when I’m in step with Him, the money that is needed for my flowing in His desires for my life will always be there.  I need some repairs on the house and He has said to just get the repairs done and not hesitate, He has always provided.  I wanted to help a non-profit and He put me in a position to greatly help financially and with my time, which gave me immense joy.  None of these things were in my carefully controlled budget spreadsheet.

So I will end by saying I’m astounded how insidious the whispers of money are, especially through what we might rationalize as good stewardship.  The many ways it has us listening to its sneaky voice.  It whispers, “you can’t fix that or buy that because you don’t have the money.”  Or, “if you worked a little harder, then you would have the money you need.”  Or, “if you gave a little more, that’s the equation for God to bless you more.”  Or, “why are you buying that for yourself when you could help the poor more instead?”  That chatter of mammon with the little gray clouds of oppression and gloom are not the Kingdom’s way, I believe.  The way of the Kingdom is a lightness in God, almost a floating feeling, where you just do what He says – even if your budget spreadsheet makes you nervous – and allow Him to be your Father, allow Him to be your provider… not you.  It takes all the weight off your shoulders when you simply accept His sweet presents and surprises.  The more He surprises and blesses me the more I want to surprise and bless others.  Isn’t that a way of the Kingdom?

I See

I see presidential candidate Mitt Romney, not a Christian, on whom the Spirit of God rests.  He will yield to and follow the Spirit of God more sensitively than many who call themselves Christians.  I see this bothering Christians.

I see the institutions of man, the churches built on the thoughts and traditions of men, one with a preacher giving a speech, another with a priest blessing with his hand.  I see a small number of those in the pews, one by one, quietly leaving by climbing through open windows to each side.

I see a huge spiritual movement, a swelling, not coming from the religious institutions of men, not coming from the Christian and Catholic institutional churches of men.  I see a huge spiritual movement swelling from those who meditate, those who do yoga, those who chant, those who see visions and dream dreams, those who thirst for the clean waters of God, those who want to draw closer and closer to Him.  I see that as they peer deeply into the things of God they will see Jesus, they will meet Jesus face to face.  This is a spiritual matter and a heart matter, not a head matter.  It is why they will meet Jesus because He will reveal Himself to them and not withhold.

I see a great gathering of different spiritual backgrounds where they talk from the heart and from the spirit and not from the head because Jesus is becoming their head.  They are learning to hear the mind of Christ.  They are learning to follow the whisper of Christ.  They are coming out of religious captivity and spiritual bondage to the doctrines and institutions of men and finding freedom in Christ whom they will discover more and more.  I see this bothering Christians.

I see relaxing drunkenness in this spiritual place of His rich presence where all is provided for with light labor and much rest.  I see audacious, trusting prayers being answered, prayers not only for physical healing but also for financial healing.  I see many people being folded into the big (in an expansive way) and loving arms of Abba Father.  I see all this for those who dare to depart from the thoughts and traditions and institutions of men, like David who turned away from his brothers and their thoughts.  They will instead go directly to the source of their delight and healing.  I see this all happening without rudeness and rejection of people but rather rejection of ideas.  This huge spiritual movement will be a departure from the thoughts and traditions and institutions of men while still loving brothers who yield to traditions of men.

Clarification: I do see the Spirit of God resting on Mitt Romney, much as the Spirit rested on some political leaders in the Old Testament.  This may be part of the time or all the time, I don’t know, but the resting on and his yielding to the Lord will be significant.  Please read carefully this is a resting on and not an abiding in, I do not have visibility into the latter.

It’s interesting I haven’t read the prophecy “In 2012 the Liberty Bell will sound ‘Dagon has fallen’” in a couple months. I didn’t remember He said in August 2011, “I will put my Spirit on the leader I choose who humbles himself before Me.” So it is interesting what I saw today.

Update as of July 7, 2012:
A couple days ago I saw in a short vision a small white dove of the Lord resting on Romney’s left shoulder.  I saw a greyish tan dove like a mourning dove resting on Obama’s right shoulder.  The two leaders looked at each other.  To some it might look as the doves have to do with skin color, which is not at all true.  The doves have to do with responding to the peace and instructions of the Lord.  One response will be less muddied and more pure than the other.

We are going to see the Lord do surprising things through Mormons.  It’s humbled me to not judge but let God be God.  Christians can become worldly in their thinking and desires and not respond well to God.  Those who don’t yet accept Jesus as Messiah and as God who descended into flesh can soften and respond to the promptings of God’s Spirit.  Humans change.  God never changes.  The Father is on the throne, meaning He has all power and kindness, and is looking for those who respond to Him and His Son.  Jesus said, "What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life…  This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him,” and “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away” John 6:62 - 6:65 and 6:37 (NIV).

Update as of November 9, 2012:

A good friend, Eagle, sent me the following on Oct 26:

“I see presidential candidate Mitt Romney, not a Christian, on whom the Spirit of God rests. He will yield to and follow the Spirit of God more sensitively than many who call themselves Christians. I see this bothering Christians.”

Read this little story. I follow politics intensively and just have zero doubt that God’s hand is upon Mitt Romney.

At the presidential election, however, over 6 million self-professed evangelical Christians voted for President Obama and not Governor Romney.  Had they voted for President Romney, he would have won.  See the prophetic vision, “I see presidential candidate Mitt Romney, not a Christian, on whom the Spirit of God rests.
